At Phoenixville Animal Hospital, we are committed to providing the highest quality care for your pets. To ensure we can serve all our clients effectively and maintain our appointment schedule, we have established the following policies:

Late Arrival Policy

We understand that delays can happen, and we always strive to accommodate our clients. However, arriving late can impact the quality of care we’re able to provide during your pet’s appointment.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment:

  • We will consult with the veterinarian to determine if your pet can still be seen in the shortened time frame
  • This evaluation ensures there is adequate time to address all of your pet’s concerns thoroughly
  • If the doctor determines the shortened timeframe is insufficient for proper care, we will make every effort to accommodate you with another appointment the same day, based on availability
  • If same-day availability is not possible, we will reschedule your appointment for the next available date

No Call/No Show Policy

Missed appointments without notice prevent other pets from receiving timely care and impact our ability to serve all our clients effectively.

If you miss a scheduled appointment without prior notification or a valid reason:

  • $25 missed appointment fee will be charged to your account
  • This fee must be paid in full before you can schedule your next appointment
  • We understand that emergencies happen, and valid reasons will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Please help us help you! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We appreciate advance notice so we can offer your appointment slot to another pet in need of care.

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

  • For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date and that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets.

Prescription Policy

Please allow 48 hours for your prescription diet, medication, and/or supplement to be refilled. Please consider ordering your prescription via phone or our online pharmacy. You will be contacted via phone when your pet’s prescription is ready for pick-up at our front desk. If you are unable to pick-up your pet’s supplies during our hours of business, please ask our receptionists about after hours pick-up options.

Payment Policy

Payment is due in full at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, ScratchPay and Care Credit

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and the protection of the other patients and owners visiting our office, we ask that all pets be properly restrained while in the waiting area or exam rooms. Dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled, and all cats and other small animals must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Privacy Policy

We do not collect or give out any information to any third party vendors or internet businesses. No information will ever be disclosed to outside parties from us or our web site hosting company. It’s that simple! And we strictly adhere to this policy.

Phoenixville Animal Hospital recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of its clients, its patients and those individuals who simply visit our site. Your privacy is also protected in our hospital. At no time is any information given out about the client or the pet without the consent of the owner.
