Dr. Ann Caulfield is a 1995 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She received additional training and certification in veterinary acupuncture from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University and in veterinary rehabilitation medicine from the University of Tennessee’s Veterinary College. Dr. Caulfield led the veterinary physical rehabilitation therapy department at the Univ. of Pennsylvania’s Mathew J. Ryan’s School of Veterinary Medicine and has lectured at professional conferences and published academically on veterinary rehabilitation therapy. Dr. Caulfield applies principles of integrative medicine in her approach to helping animals heal and be well.
Her areas of practice interest include preventive medicine, geriatric care, chronic pain management, and nutritional management of disease. She is committed to providing “Fear Free” patient care and believes caring for the emotional health of our animal companions will enhance their physical well being. A Phoenixville resident, Dr. Caulfield is very active within the community volunteering with the Reservoir Park Community Garden, and as an animal CPR/First Aid instructor for area firefighters. She has a passion for land and habitat preservation and is an avid native plant gardener. Dr. Caulfield happily shares her home with a menagerie of dogs, cats, a bird and turtle.
